"Brogans were selected as the builder and project manager for a new house on the site of our existing old batch at Langs Beach. About 10% of the old house was retained in what is now our new home. Work commenced in February 2014 with the demolition of the old house and all work including some of the landscaping requirements was completed mid-2015. Our Project Control Group (PCG), which met about every two weeks or as required, comprised:
- Brogan Builders: Grant Eager – Project Manager
- Lars Jansen – Site Manager
- Architect - Cameron Russell
- Design - Maggie Bryson
The PCG team met regularly to review progress, issues, and make decisions. There was a collaborative approach adopted with all parties contributing to provide the very best outcome for the owners. Problems, of which there were few, were dealt with in a pragmatic way. Major downtimes on the project were caused by foundations issues and the Xmas break which added over 2 ½ months to the project’s duration. Otherwise the project proceeded in a timely way while still meeting the owners’ expectations on quality. Brogans managed the sub-contractors well with all their work completed to the high standard required. We highly endorse Brogan Builders to anyone requiring their building services."
